A rowdy sheet has been opened against former bank manager Davuluri Prabhavati, who has become infamous for her criminal activities, including blackmail, honey traps and cheating worth lakhs. So far, 11 cases have been registered against her.
Davuluri Prabhavati, a former bank employee from Marribandham village in Eluru-Nuziveedu mandal, was embroiled in a dispute after pawning gold belonging to Kavuluri Yogi from Seetharampuram village without his knowledge.
Following this, she was accused by her relatives of stealing their gold and cash, leading to their other complaints at the Nuzvidu Rural Police Station.
Victims have repeatedly approached the police, claiming Padmavati threatened them with violence if they interfered in her affairs.
The allegations against her have gained media attention, particularly after Yogi accused her of cheating and framing him with false charges.
Yogi, who previously travelled with Padmavati, claims she deceived him and many others, embezzling significant amounts. He also confessed that both of them stayed in lodges as well.
He also stated he has evidence to support his claims, comparing her actions to those of another notorious figure, Tara Chowdary.
