The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on Saturday targeting the properties of former YSR Congress MP and Telugu film producer MVV Satyanarayana in Visakhapatnam, in relation to a land grabbing case.
According to ED sources, searches took place at five different locations, including Satyanarayana’s residences, offices, and those of his auditor, Ganmani Venkateswara Rao, along with another accused, Gadde Brahmaji.
These raids were initiated based on an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) following an FIR filed by the Arilova police under the Visakhapatnam Police Commissionerate.
Recently, Satyanarayana secured anticipatory bail from the Andhra Pradesh High Court in connection with a local police case involving charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery, and criminal intimidation.
