A devastating road accident in the United States has claimed the lives of three Telugu people, leaving one critically injured.
The victims, who were traveling from Oklahoma to Dallas, Texas, were involved in a major collision that has left the Telugu community in shock.
The crash happened on State Highway 121 between Bonham and Trenton at 5:55 p.m on Monday.
The individuals involved in the accident were all from Andhra Pradesh hailing from different parts of the state.
According to reports, two of the deceased were a couple, and the other were on H1B visas, working professionals in the U.S. The victims were originally from the towns of Sri Kalahasti, Nellore, and Vizag.
The group was traveling together in a car along the busy highway connecting Oklahoma and Dallas when the accident took place.
The details surrounding the cause of the accident are still unclear. Authorities responded swiftly to the scene, but unfortunately, five of the passengers were declared dead on the spot.
One of the passengers survived the crash but is currently in a critical condition. The identity of the survivor has not been released, pending family notification.
