In a major setback, choreographer Jani Master's National Film Award has been revoked.
Following the filing of a POCSO case against him, the award committee decided to cancel the honor.
Jani Basha, who had been selected for the 2022 National Film Award for Best Choreography, had previously obtained interim bail to attend the award ceremony in New Delhi.
He was scheduled to receive the award on October 8th, but with the cancellation, uncertainty now looms over the status of his bail.
