YCP Needs Fresh Faces for Future

The politicians in relevant positions only come forward while addressing the media as the party's representatives.

Even in the central BJP, it is either Narendra Modi or Amit Shah who speaks to the public as the party's voice.

But surprisingly, YCP has a different ecosystem since the beginning. Non-politicians, who are key coterie members of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, come forward, keeping the mainstream politicians in the party behind.

This scenario is detrimental to the party, and even after losing badly in the latest election, the YCP Chief does not seem to be considering changing his ways. Readmore!

He continues to field the same key coterie members in the forefront, causing disappointment and dismay among other party leaders.

In the recent Delhi sit-in, the YCP ranks did not like the way Sajjala was running things by himself. The YCP ranks want Jagan to change after the defeat.

However, as YCP is still trying to reorganize, there is a complaint that there has been no change in their leader. This is why leaders are hesitant to approach Jagan.

Moreover, these non-politicians continue to appear at every meeting.

Over the past five years, while Sajjala has given the impression that he is close to Jagan Mohan Reddy and got things done in his favor, YV Subba Reddy has done something similar, citing his relationship with Jagan.

But even now, the same faces are lingering around YCP, causing a lack of trust in the party among other key leaders.

If the entire coterie, along with the other affiliates, truly wants Jagan and YCP's well-being, they should stop appearing in front ground. They should stand behind Jagan and work for the party's betterment. YCP needs to introduce new faces and bring them to the forefront.

Only then will YCP have a future. Jagan's coterie should realize that if they want to bring the party to power, they need to distance themselves. Until this is done, good days will never come for YCP.
