Jagan for Pulivendula, what about assembly?

YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is leaving for his Pulivendula assembly on Saturday, leaving one wonder whether he will be able to attend the state assembly session or not.

According to party sources, Jagan will take 12 noon flight from Gannavaram to Kadapa and from there, he will be leaving for Pulivendula by road. Since he is no more the chief minister, he cannot fly in a special flight.

He has to go by normal passenger flight to Kadapa, for which he has to be in the airport by 11 am. For that, Jagan has to start from Tadepalli to the airport at least by 10.15 am.

In all probability, Jagan may skip the assembly session on Saturday, which will start at 10.30 am. Some of the MLAs, who could not come to the assembly to take oath on Friday, will be sworn in by pro-tem speaker Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary on Saturday. Readmore!

Only after that senior TDP leader Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu will assume charge as the assembly speaker. The TDP legislator from Narsipatnam got unanimously elected as the speaker on Friday.

So, by the time Ayyanna Patrudu takes charge, it will be around noon and by that time, Jagan would be in the flight.

He won’t be able to attend the assembly to accompany Ayyanna Patrudu to the Speaker’s chair and make a speech in the House.
