Mudragada advice to Pawan on acting in films!

Now that Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan has become a full-time politician, having taken charge as deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh with a very important portfolio, there is a debate on whether he should stop acting in films or continue it.

Pawan knows that it is not so easy to continue acting in films because he is now in a responsible position. It may not look good, if he dances with heroines or does any fighting. Every step of him is closely watched and dissected in political angle.

Had he been an ordinary MLA, it would have been okay to act in films. Many MPs and MLAs across the country, who have come from film industry, still do acting in films.

Even his elder brother mega star Chiranjeevi acted in his 150th film even though he was a Rajya Sabha member. Readmore!

But now that Pawan Kalyan is the deputy chief minister, it might not be appropriate for him to act, though nothing prevents him from doing so.

Against this backdrop, Kapu leader and former minister Mudragada Padmanabha Reddy gave a piece of advice to Pawan Kalyan. He said it would be better if the Jana Sena chief stopped acting in films.

“Even N T Rama Rao did not act in films after becoming the chief minister. He returned to films only after his party returned to opposition in 1989. But when he became the chief minister again in 1994, he stopped acting again,” Mudragada pointed out.

If Pawan Kalyan is still keen on acting, it would be better he took the permission of the Centre or the Supreme Court, Mudragada advised.
