Releasing an animation series before film’s release is a first-of-its-kind promotional strategy. In fact, the makers of Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD are implementing innovative ideas to build excitement for the movie.
Bujji And Bhairava animation series will be released tonight (12 AM) exclusively on Amazon Prime. Before that, the makers who released a striking trailer screened the first episode of the series to select people.
Director Nag Ashwin explained the kind of efforts that were put in to make the series. He said that he got the idea a couple of years ago, and it was possible because of the complete support from Green Gold.
Nag Ashwin stated that the idea of the prelude is to introduce the characters and also to make people understand the cinematic world of Kalki before the film’s release.
“Releasing an animated series Bujji And Bhairava even before the movie was a bold experiment by our production house. Animation is a whole different ball game. We were fortunate to get the support of Green Gold Animation.”
The trailer of the series got an instant response.
