Jagan picks Rosaiah for Guntur MP seat

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday night released yet another short list of five candidates, including two for Guntur and Ongole Lok Sabha constituencies.

This is the eighth list of party candidates in the name of coordinators and in-charges for these five constituencies.

While sitting MLA from Chandragiri constituency Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy has been chosen as the party candidate for Ongole Lok Sabha constituency, Jagan has surprisingly chosen Kilari Venkata Rosaiah as the party candidate for Guntur Lok Sabha seat.

Rosaiah, who is presently representing Ponnur assembly constituency in Guntur district, is the son-in-law of senior MLC Ummareddy Venkateshwarlu, hailing from Kapu community. Readmore!

In place of Rosaiah, the YSRCP chief gave the ticket for Ponnuru seat to young party leader and industrialist Ambati Murali Krishna, CEO of Bajrang Group, who is also undertaking a lot of philanthropic activities in Ponnuru.

For Kandukuru, Jagan has picked up Burra Madhusudhan Yadav in place of sitting MLA M Maheedhar Reddy, who is all set to quit the party to join the TDP.

Similarly, for G D Nellore, the YSRCP chief selected Kallathur Krupa Lakshmi in place of Kalathur Narayana Swamy.
