The episode of rebel MLA of YSR Congress party from Nellore (rural) constituency Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy’s revolt against the party and his allegations of telephone tapping against the Jagan government has created a sensation in the party for the last two days.
But Telugu Desam Party has been maintaining stoic silence over the entire episode, though Kotamreddy claimed that he would contest the next assembly elections from the TDP and the YSRCP leaders are alleging that he had been in touch with Lokesh for quite some.
However, some senior TDP leaders are suspicious that the entire Kotamreddy issue could even be a big drama being enacted by the YSRCP as part of creating confusion among the TDP cadres as well as the people.
Senior legislator from Rajahmundry Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary posted an interesting comment on the twitter, sounding a word of caution to the party leaders about such dramas enacted by the YSRC.
Referring to the latest developments in the YSRC, Chowdary tweeted:
“YSRCP covert drama appears to have started. Maybe, it is part of the script for the forthcoming film “Vyuham.” Be careful, Telugu brothers… #Gorantla.”
He also mentioned hashtags for the tweet: #YCPcovertdrama, #JaganDiversionPolitics.
Though Buchaiah Chowdary did not mention any name in the tweet, it led to an interesting talk as to who the “covert” is which he is referring to. Similarly, he also mentioned the cinema script for “Vyuham.”
Obviously, the senior TDP leader must be referring to the ongoing episode of Kotamreddy and the forthcoming film “Vyuham,” announced by maverick director Ram Gopal Varma.
“He appears to have warned the TDP about the strategies of YSRC leadership to confuse the party by making its own MLAs as rebels, so that they could do covert operations in the TDP. Maybe, this is the theme of Ram Gopal Varma’s film,” sources said.
