This Friday three notable films hit the theaters and none of them received 5% of footfalls.
“Pandugod”, which boasted the presence of all of the leading comedians and glamorous faces like Nithya Shetty, saw zero occupancy.
The case is similar to Aadi Sai Kumar’s “Tees Maar Khan”. No one cared to watch it in the theaters. The film is non starter at the ticket windows.
Dhanush starrer “Thiru” (dubbed movie) got a limited release but it picked up collections in cities like Hyderabad after word-of-mouth was positive. But the overall collections remained on the lower side.
With new releases failing to pose any competition, Nikhil Siddharth starrer “Karthikeya 2” is having a dream run. The film became the first choice for the viewers on the second weekend as well.
“Sita Ramam” and “Bimbisara” also witnessed decent collections in their third week.
