Kodali Nani launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Naidu had criticized Jagan and Kodali in his recent visit to Gudivada, which prompted Nani to retaliate in his own way.
Nani alleged that Naidu had not done anything for Gudivada and claimed that the YSRCP government was providing housing for 23,000 underprivileged individuals in Gudivada. He challenged Naidu to discuss the development of Gudivada with him.
According to Nani, TDP lost every election when Naidu campaigned in Gudivada. Nani went so far as to say that if Naidu could prove that he had purchased even one acre of land for building homes for the poor in Gudivada, he would quit politics.
Nani also took a dig at Naidu's personal life, claiming that Nimmakuru, NTR's birthplace and Naidu's mother-in-law's hometown, was where Naidu had slept for the first time in years after being married for 42 years.
Nani ridiculed on this matter in his own way. Additionally, Nani ridiculed Naidu of sleeping in a bus and not finding a home to sleep in NTR's hometown.
Nani also countered by claiming, "NTR's and Basavatharakam's statues were not installed in Nimmakuru by Naidu. But he shamelessly garlanded the statues installed by us".
