Naidu's Lies Never End, YSR Did Not Go For Alliance

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu never tells the truth. He tries to twists some facts in his favour and he repeats this act of lying all through.

The latest is his statement about late Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy who aligned with the Left Parties and the TRS in 2004 general elections.

The alliance was rather forced by the Congress high command for which Dr Rajasekhar Reddy had to accept.

Dr Rajasekhar Reddy had created a wave in favour of the Congress with his historic padayatra from Chevella to Itchapuram. Readmore!

He shouldered the responsibility of the Congress victory that year against all odds, including his own party.

While the facts remain like this, Chandrababu Naidu said that YSR had gone for alliance with the Left parties and the TRS to win the election.

In fact, it was Chandrababu Naidu who had a tie-up with the Left and the TRS in the 2009 elections.

The contest was the Congress on one side, Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party on the other and the TDP-led Mahakutami on the third line.

And the result was that Dr Rajasekhar Reddy repeated the Congress victory in the election, while Naidu ended up in second place retaining his Leader of Opposition post.

The TDP chief is now trying for alliance after his humiliating defeat in the 2019 elections.

He won the 2014 election in alliance with the BJP and the Jana Sena. While BJP is unwilling to have any pact with him this time, Naidu is luring the Jana Sena to defeat the YSR Congress.

In this backdrop, the TDP chief made the allegation that Dr Rajasekhar Reddy went for electoral tie-up, which was a blatant lie.
