Naidu Thanks 'Amit Shah ji and Modi ji!'

There has been a talk in the political circles that Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is desperately trying to get closer to the Bharatiya Janata Party bosses.

He openly admitted that he had done a mistake by confronting with the BJP leadership and coming out of the NDA.

Despite the statements of the BJP leaders that the doors of their party are closed permanently for the TDP, Naidu has been making his own efforts to build bridges with the saffron party.

He has been wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah on their birthdays, though they did not reciprocate his gestures. Readmore!

On Saturday, Naidu made yet another attempt to appease the BJP bosses.

He wrote a thanks-giving letter to Amit Shah appreciating the Centre’s gesture to incorporate Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh in the revised India map prepared by Survey of India.

He said the people’s capital of Andhra Pradesh Amaravati had not found its place in the Indian map revised on November 2 though “Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Sri Narendra Modi” laid the foundation stone for the capital.

“When this issue was brought to the notice of Ministry of Home Affairs on November 21 by our MPs, the ministry took expeditious action and corrected the error within no time. I personally thank you for the quick steps taken in this regard and bring wishes of people of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu Desam Party,” Naidu said.

The TDP chief also thanked “Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi” for the initiative.

At the same time, he wrote a separate letter to Union minister of state for home affairs G Kishan Reddy thanking his timely initiative in this regard.

The way Naidu went head over the heels before Amit Shah and Modi clearly shows his changing colours!
