Naidu, Revanth had secret talks in airport?

If speculations doing rounds in the political circles are to be believed, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy had a secret meeting at the Begumpet airport on Thursday before both of them flew down to Delhi in separate special aircrafts.

According to these reports, the meeting between Naidu and Revanth lasted more than an hour. In fact, it was a pre-planned meeting held at the instance of Naidu, who reportedly sought Revanth’s support for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections.

Sources said Revanth reportedly agreed to help Naidu in whatever manner he could in the Andhra elections, irrespective of the alliance between the TDP and the BJP. However, on behalf of the Congress, there would be no overt or covert support to Naidu, he reportedly told him.

Maybe, Revanth Reddy might extend financial support to the TDP in Andhra Pradesh, as the Congress cannot help the TDP in any manner. In the entire scenario, the Telangana chief minister will be nowhere in picture. Readmore!

Interestingly, during the talks with Union home minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Thursday night, Naidu gave a firm promise that his party’s Telangana unit would extend all possible help to the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana.
