The newly formed alliance between Telugu Desam Party headed by former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party headed by power star Pawan Kalyan seems to have got a new name – “Telugu Jana Vijayam.”
One would get this impression after watching the dais at the joint public meeting of the two parties held at Tadepalligudem in Eluru district.
It was named as “Telugu Jana Vijayam” and the banner was designed with the name “Telugu Jana Vijaya Jenda.”
Obviously, it is a combination of two words – “Telugu” taken from Telugu Desam Party and “Jana” from Jana Sena Party and the third word “Vijayam” has been added to symbolise the victory they are expecting in the coming elections.
In order to symbolise the alliance, Naidu and Pawan Kalyan exchanged their party flags on the days.
“This key moment implied the strength of the alliance and their commitment to the common goal of saving Andhra Pradesh from the nefarious rule of incumbent chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy,” a party statement said.
The attractive aspect of the Tadepalligudem meeting was that senior actor and Hindupur TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan came together with hand in hand and waved the gesture of victory to the people.
“Two superstars, two mass stars came together to give out a message of change in Andhra Pradesh. Tadepalligudem witnessed their beloved stars making history together,” the statement said.
It is not immediately known whether Naidu and Pawan Kalyan would continue this “Telugu Jana Vijayam” name for the alliance permanently or it is only for the Tadepalligudem meeting.
But the name has been chosen to send a message to the cadres of both the parties that they are sailing together.
