After fretting and fuming at the YSR Congress party led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in the last few days, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu went on a quick tour to Himachal Pradesh to chill down.
Naidu, along with his wife Bhuvaneshwari quietly left for Shimla three days ago after completing his “Project Yuddha Bheri” programme at Thotapalli barrage in Vizianagaram district.
Apparently, the TDP chief felt like having a much-needed break after heating up his brain with attacking Jagan and his party during his agitation programme, that witnessed a lot of violent incidents in Chittoor district, for which the police booked him in attempt to murder case.
Naidu and his wife toured a few places in Himachal Pradesh to get relief from the heated politics. Interestingly, he wrote letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu on Sunday, demanding a CBI probe into the recent violent incidents in Chittoor. Perhaps, he signed the letters before going on his Himachal tour.
The TDP chief returned to Hyderabad on Monday evening. Enroute, he had a halt at Chandigarh, where he called on Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. Both of them had a friendly chat and discussed the political situation in the Telugu states.
Without wasting much time, Naidu will be back on his political mission from Tuesday. He would be flying to Visakhapatnam, where he would release India Vision-2047 document on Tuesday, coinciding with the Independence Day.
The document, titled “Five Strategies for India as global leader,” was prepared by Global Forum for Sustainable Transformation, for which Naidu is the chairman.
“It will be released in the presence of intellectuals, students, professors, academics and experts in various other fields,” a TDP release said.
