Naidu can never become CM again: Ex-MP

The other day, Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu announced that he would attend the state assembly sessions again in its present term.

He took a vow that he would enter the assembly again only in the capacity of the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

“I will ask the people whether they want to see me as the chief minister again or not. If they bless me, I will enter the assembly as the chief minister,” he said.

But, according to senior Congress leader from Tirupati and former Union minister Chinta Mohan, the chances of Naidu becoming the chief minister are very bleak, as he had hardly done anything for the state during his tenure.  Readmore!

“He cannot become the chief minister again, as the people have realised that he has not done anything for the state in his 14-year period. So, the doors of the state assembly are permanently closed for him,” the Congress leader said.

Chinta Mohan predicted that the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh would be from Balija community. But he doesn’t know who that Balija leader is.

“We are looking for a strong leader from the Balija community, who has integrity, sincerity and commitment,” he said.

The veteran Congress leader said the state was ruled only by Reddy and Kamma leaders in the last 60 years.

“Now, it is the turn of the Kapu or Balija leaders,” he predicted.
