Nagarjuna was particular about releasing his film Naa Saami Ranga for Sankranthi, given it’s a perfect festival movie that speaks volumes about Sankranthi Prabhala Theerthalu.
The movie which marked the directorial debut of Vijay Binni was released in cinemas yesterday and it was off to a good start.
Naa Saami Ranga which was made as a colourful entertainer on Srinivasa Silven Screen is pulling the family audience to theatres and the movie observed fulls in many centers, after a long time for Nagarjuna.
The movie collected a share of 4.33 Cr on its opening day. While Naa Saami Ranga collected 1.2 Cr in Nizam, it earned 85 lakhs in Ceded. The movie made a solid business in Andhra with 2.28 Cr share on opening day.
Nagarjuna has a positive sentiment with Sankranthi as he delivered a few superhits to blockbusters, during the festival season. And, Naa Saami Ranga opened well in all territories.
MM Keeravani’s chartbuster album also augmented the prospects of the movie which is expected to capitalize on festival holidays.
