More than a week after extending open support to National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners of Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party in Andhra Pradesh, mega star Chiranjeevi is all set to enter into a direction action.
There were reports that Chiranjeevi might campaign for a day or two for his younger brother and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram in the first week of May. But according to latest reports, the mega star is going to make a full-fledged campaign.
The reports said Chiranjeevi got all his shooting schedules and other engagements cancelled and is all set to take a plunge into campaign for a week – from May 5 to 11. He would spend the whole week campaigning in Pithapuram and surrounding areas.
Most of this period, he would be campaigning for his brother, but there are also possibilities of the megastar squeezing in some time to campaign for his friend C M Ramesh in Anakapalli and Panchakarla Ramesh in Pendurthi.
The megastar would use his own campaign vehicle, rather than Vaarahi of Pawan Kalyan. But it would be a big show if the megastar is joined by his two brothers – Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan.
It is not immediately known whether any Telugu Desam Party or BJP leaders would join the campaign along with Chiranjeevi in Pithapuram and other areas.
In any case, it would be interesting to see whether the megastar would make any difference to the fortunes of his brother!
