Renowned character artist Rao Ramesh is turning main lead for Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam which is heading for its theatrical release.
The theatrical trailer for the film was unveiled by none other than Global Star Ram Charan this morning and it promises a packed entertainer. Mythri Movie Makers have acquired the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and are giving it a big release on August 23rd.
For the first time, Sukumar’s wife Thabitha Sukumar is presenting this film. She appears to be appeased by the quality of the film and hence came forward to present this, which happens to be her maiden presentation venture.
Coming to the trailer, firstly, Subramanyam aka Rao Ramesh is seen as a conventional old fashioned man who is witty and funny.
Subramanyam is caught in the regular hurdles of running a middle class families while his son goes around claiming that his father is Allu Aravind. This is going to be a funny hook point in the film.
Going by the trailer, Subramanyam’s life changes after he receives surplus money in his bank account without him knowing. What follows this has to be watched on big screens.
We see a host of seasoned actors including Rao Ramesh, Indraja, Harshavardhan, and others. Ankith Koyya and Ramya Pasupuleti play a young couple.
Rao Ramesh is the focal point of this funky comedy drama and it promises slick fun.
It has been a while since Tollywood saw a proper rooted comedy caper and this vacuum is likely to help Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam.
Lakshman Karya has directed the comedy caper while Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya produced the film under PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Creations.
