Dulquer Salmaan's "Lucky Baskhar" trailer is released. The makers have coined it as "ordinary man's extraordinary journey".
The trailer gives us a glimpse into the world of Baskhar Kumar, who can risk anything for money. He doesn't want to be a good or a bad man but a rich person who can do anything and earn so much money, that even his breathe will be respected.
Dulquer Salmaan appears in a greyish character. His character seems to be mixture of the greed, love, angst, arrogance and confidence.
The film sounds like a character driven drama.
Venky Atluri directed the film with Meenakshi Chaudary playing the female lead.
The writer-director also impresses us with sharp and apt lines like, "Sumathi, I'm not bad, I'm just rich"... "Cigarette, Alcohol, drugs ... don't stand a chance in front of Money.."
Meenakshi Chaudhary as Sumathi makes her mark and her scenes with Dulquer Salmaan promise to be a visual and dramatic treat.
Nimish Ravi with his stunning visuals lets us time travel into the late 80's and 90's Bombay.
GV Prakash Kumar scored music. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film.
Lucky Baskhar is scheduled for a worldwide release on 31st October in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages.
