Bollywood is increasingly turning its attention toward South Indian actresses, especially with several Hindi heroines failing to deliver consistent box-office results.
After Rashmika Mandanna made a strong impact in Bollywood, producers are now keen on casting more South stars such as Meenakshi Chaudhary, Rukmini Vasanth, and Bhagyashri Borse.
Ranveer Singh is gearing up for his next project titled “Pralay,” a large-scale zombie drama that reportedly features a prominent female lead with a substantial romantic arc.
According to industry buzz, either Rukmini Vasanth or Bhagyashri Borse is being considered for the role.
The makers have reportedly approached both actresses and are currently checking their availability. One among them will be finalized based on dates and scheduling.
Rukmini Vasanth gained pan-Indian recognition with “Kantara: Chapter 1,” while Bhagyashri Borse, despite not yet scoring a major hit, continues to receive multiple offers, indicating strong industry confidence in her potential.
