“I initially thought of trying my hand at cinematography and direction. I even worked for an ad commercial to learn pre-production works. I also worked as an apprentice for Sardaar Gabbar Singh for two days, when Pawan Kalyan was not shooting. But, when he came, he asked me to learn martial arts. Thus, I went to Phuket.”

He affirms, “If I don’t click in films, I will do something else. But I will give my best in whatever I do. I also penned different stories, but couldn’t develop them. Direction and writing are not easy jobs.”

The young hero informs Buchi Babu taught him how to act accordingly to situations.

“However, Krish’s working style is very different. He used to give me scene paper a day prior to shooting, so that I can well-prepare for the shoot. He used to give valuable suggestion. He wanted a settled performance and was particular about my voice modulation as well.”

About the commercial elements in the film, Vaishnav says, “The challenges Kataru Ravindra faces are the commercial elements. Basically, I liked the story a lot and also my character. There is a good message in the movie.”

Vaishnav Tej states story is his first priority, but not the director.

“There’s no truth in I’m interested in working with star directors. I will happily work with newcomers, if the story is good.”

Vaishnav informs his brother Sai Dharam Tej is doing well and he will recover completely in a couple of weeks.

“I’ve watched Republic and it’s a thought-provoking film. My brother Sai Dharam Tej did really well.”
