Komatireddy Faces Disciplinary Action!

Former MP and Congress MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy is facing the threat of expulsion from the party for his aggressive attack on the party high command, PCC leadership and also the AICC in-charge of the state on the constitution of various committees for the PCC.

The PCC disciplinary committee headed by senior leader M Kodanda Reddy met at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday and served a show-cause notice on Rajagopal Reddy.

The Congress MLC is expected to address a press conference later in the day to announce his future course of action.

He was taken as a member in the coordination committee, but he expected a bigger post. So, he made very strong comments against the party leadership.

“The committees are full of brokers. There is no place for genuine party workers like me, who contributed their sweat and blood for the party in the last two decades. This Khuntia is a waste fellow. He will ruin the party,” the MLC said.

The disciplinary committee also thought of issuing show-cause notice to veteran leader and former MP and PCC strategy committee chairman V Hanumantha Rao for questioning the party high command and saying it would be better to be in Chanchalguda jail than in that committee, which had no powers.

He was thoroughly disappointed for not being made the PCC campaign committee chairman.

Fumed over his designation in the committee, VH termed the Congress leaders at the top as KCR coverts who were scared to make him as the party publicity committee chairman fearing of Congress winning in the next elections.

Since he did not use any bad words against the high command, the disciplinary committee spared him, party sources said.
