Khaidi For Me, Veerayya For Bobby: Chiru

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya Vijaya Viharam took place today in an enormous way in Warangal with a massive crowd attending the function. Ram Charan was the special guest.

Producers said the collections of the movie are surprising them every day. They thanked Chiranjeevi for giving them a memorable blockbuster and also Ram Charan for gracing the occasion as a special guest.

Director Bobby recalled an incident when Chiranjeevi assured his father that he would become a star director and Waltair Veerayya would become a blockbuster. “I didn’t get much respect for my previous films. VV Vinayak and Meher Ramesh lent good support, during the post-production works. There is no Waltair Veerayya, without Ravi Teja.”

Ram Charan was all praise for the producers of the movie. “The producers of Mythri Movie Makers gave memorable and industry blockbusters to many heroes. Few producers need to learn from them. I watched the movie after I came back from the USA. Nanna is appearing like my brother in the movie. I came here as one of the fans. Readmore!

Ravi Teja played a serious character, yet we enjoyed his character. I felt it was not enough. Thus, I watched his Dhamaka on Netflix. Devi gave 3 fantastic songs. Nanna is quiet, but we are not. We can’t spare if anyone speaks against him.”

Chiranjeevi recalled the memories of doing Praja Ankitha Yatra in Warangal. “We predicted that Waltair Veerayya would become a blockbuster. But we didn’t expect the movie would become non-SSR hit. We give the main credit of the success to the audience. The movie is inching towards 250 Cr gross. The movie showed me vintage characters and reminded my old classics.

Kahidi made me a star in 1983, while in 2023 Waltair Veerayya made Bobby a star director. He spent many days and nights working on the movie. He made the movie on a reasonable budget, which is the first reason for its success. Charan during Rangasthalam spoke highly about the producers. I feel proud of Charan and congratulate team RRR for the Golden Globe Award for RRR and also for the Oscars nomination.

Producers became cashiers of late. But the producers of Mythri Movie Makers are very passionate and are making movies without compromising on budgets. DSP gave wonderful music. I saw Pawan Kalyan in Ravi Teja in the death episode. That’s how the emotion looked very real.

Shruti Haasan brought glamor to the movie. Let’s all wish her a happy birthday. I can’t forget the contribution of GK Mohan.”
