KCR's temple visit only for thanksgiving?

Why did Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao visit Kaleshwaram temple and Medigadda irrigation project and worship the gods and river water?

According to KCR’s former colleague in Parliament and presently Bharatiya Janata Party leader M Vijayashanti, the chief minister has been visiting temples and projects only for thanksgiving.

“His visit to the Kaleshwaram temple and the projects at a time his own cabinet colleagues are openly mentioning about his son K T Rama Rao’s anointment as the next chief minister of Telangana is raising many suspicions,” she said.

Vijayashanti alleged that KCR and his family made huge money through Kaleshwaram irrigation project. Readmore!

“He has patted himself for constructing Kaleshwaram and other projects, as he knows how much they had fetched him in the form of commissions and kickbacks,” she said.

Now that KCR is planning to make his son as the chief minister, he wants to thank the gods and the projects for one last time for extending benefits to him all these years and pray for their blessings to his son as well in the coming days, Vijayashanti said.

She criticised that during his Kaleshwaram visit, the chief minister did not even have the time to the farmers who gave up their lands for the project but were not compensated.

“He did not give them audience to listen to their woes,” she said.
