KCR's Next Bouncer: Harish For Lok Sabha!

After springing a surprise by elevating his son K T Rama Rao as TRS working president, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to hurl a bouncer at his nephew T Harish Rao.

KCR's bouncer is aimed to exit Harish Rao from Telangana politics to pave for the smooth takeover of party and CM's post by his son KTR in the coming days.

Grapevine is that Harish Rao, who won with a record highest majority of over 1.18 lakh votes from Siddipet Assembly seat in recent Assembly polls will be asked to contest for Medak Lok Sabha seat in ensuing general elections in April 2019.

KCR is learnt to have decided to follow in the footsteps of late DMK leader Karunanidhi to avoid 'power struggle' between his family members in future. Readmore!

Karunanidhi had elevated his son MK Stalin as working president of DMK. But he had sent his nephew Murasoli Maran to Lok Sabha and made him a minister in UPA cabinet then. With this, he successfully avoided power struggle between his son Stalin and nephew Maran.

Now, KCR too wants to adopt "Karunanidhi formula" to avoid power struggle between his son KTR and nephew Harish Rao.

KTR was already elevated as working president of TRS. Now, it's the turn of Harish Rao and KCR wants him to contest Medak Lok Sabha seat.

A clever politician KCR is, he reportedly asked Harish to assist him in national politics by coming to Lok Sabha in April 2019 and convince him to leave state politics.

KCR already disclosed his plans to shift to national politics and play a key role.

KCR is confident that TRS sweeps 16 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 leaving the other one to friendly party MIM from Hyderabad seat.

KCR believes that a coalition government with the support of TRS will come to power at Centre after 2019 polls in which he will play crucial role and also accommodate Harish as cabinet minister.

In this way, KCR wants to make it easier for KTR to occupy Telangana CM post and without giving scope for another power centre in TRS government in the form of Harish Rao after KCR shifts to national politics.

He already sent Kavitha to Lok Sabha to avoid multiple power centres in TRS government and party.
