KCR seeking Pawan support to BRS?

At a time when there are reports that Jana Sena Party president and power star Pawan Kalyan might enter into an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh in the next assembly elections, an interesting news has started doing circulation in the social media.

The news is that Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has invited Pawan Kalyan to Pragati Bhavan to discuss the national politics and if possible, invite the power star to join his national mission of building up an anti-Bharatiya Janata Party alternative.

Though it appears to be a little far-fetched because Pawan Kalyan is still a political ally of the BJP in Andhra Pradesh, KCR is of the view that the actor might distance himself from the saffron party due to the latter’s soft pedalling towards YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh.

So, in the event of Pawan snapping ties with the BJP, KCR wants him to join hands with the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS), instead of the TDP. That way, Pawan won’t have to compromise for lesser number of seats by allying with the TDP but can have a lion’s share in the AP elections. Readmore!

According to these reports, KCR has entrusted the task of convincing Pawan Kalyan to his son K T Rama Rao, who has close connections the power star.

It may be mentioned that KTR had attended the pre-release event of Pawan’s film Bhimla Nayak and praised the power star a lot.

On the other hand, Pawan too has soft corner towards KCR and appreciated the schemes being implemented in Telangana. But one is doubtful whether that itself is enough for the power star to take such a major political decision.
