KCR going to Delhi to step up anti-BJP campaign

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be leaving for New Delhi on Friday as part of his anti-BJP front mission which he has launched in the recent past.

There were reports that KCR would be going to Delhi on Thursday evening itself, but the visit has been postponed by a day due to personal reasons.

Along with KCR, former MP and state planning board vice-chairman Boyinapalli Vinod Kumar will also be going to Delhi, party sources said.

He is likely to stay put in Delhi for a couple of days to meet several leaders including Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to discuss the strategies to formulate the third front. Readmore!

Several MPs and ministers are also likely to join him during his stay in Delhi. It is learnt KCR is planning to set up an office for the TRS in the national capital to pursue his activities in national politics.

Earlier reports said the TRS chief is planning to create a team of intellectuals, senior leaders and academics to work out the strategies at the national level.

The team is likely to be led by senior actor Prakash Raj, who would be entrusted with the responsibility of meeting the leaders of various regional parties and coordinate with them on the anti-BJP front.
