JC's wishful thinking: Jagan to step down!

Maverick Telugu Desam Party leader and former Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy seems to be feeling suffocated in the regime of YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the latter is hell bent on winding up all his illegal transport activities.

Such is the animosity Diwakar Reddy has towards the YSRC government that he strongly wished that Jagan would lose power shortly and his wife Bharati Reddy would succeed as the chief minister.

“There is every possibility that Jagan would step down from the chief minister’s post sometime this year and go to jail. His wife Bharati Reddy would become the next chief minister,” JC said.

Diwakar Reddy on Wednesday visited the capital villages in Amaravati on Wednesday to express his solidarity with the agitating farmers. Readmore!

He warned the government of severe consequences if the latter has any conspiracy of dividing the state or trifurcating the capital.

Speaking on shifting of capital to Visakhapatnam, Reddy opined that the chief minister's decision alone was not enough to shift the capital as it required the consensus from the people and society. He alleged the insider trading charges against the YSRCP leaders in Visakhapatnam.

He also took pot shots at Jagan's meeting with KCR and alleged that both are trying to divide the state into three regions and alleged that KCR was behind the YSRCP's win in last elections.
