Firebrand Telugu Desam Party leader and former MLA J C Prabhakar Reddy, who had been lying low and projecting a soft figure of him for the last five years, is back to displaying his aggressive character, taking advantage of the TDP coming to power in the state.
Prabhakar Reddy has started threatening the YSRCP leaders with dire consequences if they create hurdles for him.
On Saturday, he threatened to beat former YSRCP MLA from Anantapur Ananta Venkatrami Reddy chappals if the latter continued to resort to land grabbing.
“I am not as soft as our party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He may be controlling his anger and frustration towards the YSRCP leaders for the development of the state. But I cannot control my anger or resentment. I know how to take these opposition leaders to task,” he said.
Accusing the previous YSRCP government of severely harassing TDP workers, Prabhakar Reddy said now, it is the turn of the TDP leaders to take revenge.
“The TDP cadre at the grassroot level are seething with anger. The leaders and MLAs should respond,” he said.
He warned that anyone who criticizes CM Chandrababu, Minister Nara Lokesh, or Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan would be beaten up if necessary.
The former TDP MLA accused Ananta Venkatarami Reddy of encroaching on ITI college land near his residence and announced plans to break the gates of the property on December 4 and 5.
