Jana Sena candidate is the richest in AP polls!

When Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu declared his family assets as part of the mandatory submission to the Election Commission along with his nomination for Kuppam assembly seat, it made a big news.

For, the total value of the assets of Naidu and that of his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari was Rs 931.83 crore. However, a lion’s share of this property value belongs to Bhuvaneshwari – it is around Rs 895.47 crore. So, the value of Naidu’s movable and immovable assets is only Rs 36.35 crore.

As the nomination process is going on and more candidates are submitting their election affidavits disclosing the value of their assets, more interesting details are coming to light.

Apart from Naidu, the other richest TDP leaders among the candidates who filed their nominations are Vemireddy couple – Nellore MP candidate Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and his wife Vemireddy Prashanti, who is contesting from Kovur assembly seat in Nellore. Readmore!

Since both are contesting the elections, their election affidavits are also more or less same. They disclosed their assets at Rs 715.62 crore; which made them richer than Naidu.

But on Saturday, another candidate filed her nomination and disclosed her assets, which came as a big surprise. She is Lokam Naga Madhavi, the Jana Sena Party candidate from Nellimarla assembly constituency in Vizianagaram district.

According to the affidavit, she had disclosed the value of her assets at a staggering Rs 898.73 crore. Though this includes the assets of her husband L N Prasad as well, it was also shown in the affidavit that she is also a joint owner of her husband’s properties.

Madhavi, a software engineer, worked in various companies in the US before returning to India. Along with her husband, she established Miracle Software, which is in big profits and has expanded all the country.

She also established Miracle Global Delivery Centre at Munjeru village of Nellimarla constituency, with its headquarters at Visakhapatnam. She also established a group of educational institutions at Bhogapuram.

Madhavi unsuccessfully contested the last assembly elections, too, as Jana Sena candidate and had to face several troubles from the Jagan government in the last five years, say Jana Sena Party leaders, adding that she is now getting a very good response to her electioneering in the constituency.
