Jagan urges Modi to act against Naidu's baseless allegations on TTD

YSRCP Chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging action against the baseless allegations made by current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu regarding the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

In the letter, YS Jagan condemned Naidu for spreading false claims about the purity of the ghee used in the preparation of the sacred Tirumala Laddu, a prasadam cherished by millions of devotees.

He pointed out that Naidu’s politically motivated statements have hurt the sentiments of devotees and damaged the sanctity of the renowned TTD.

Jagan emphasized the strict quality control processes in place at TTD to ensure the purity of ingredients, including e-tendering, NABL-accredited lab tests, and multi-level checks. He noted that similar procedures were followed during Naidu’s regime as well. Readmore!

Expressing concern over the damage these allegations could cause to TTD’s reputation and devotees' faith, Jagan urged Prime Minister Modi to reprimand Naidu and restore trust.

He accused Naidu of making these claims to divert attention from his government’s failures and further his political agenda.

The letter follows Naidu’s controversial remarks at a political meeting, two months after a ghee tanker was rejected by TTD’s quality control.

YS Jagan called for PM Modi’s intervention to protect the sanctity of the Tirumala temple and prevent further harm to devotees' sentiments.
