Jagan ready to provide house to Naidu!

Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu might be adamant in not vacating his house on the banks of Krishna river at Vundavalli, but his political career was already drowned in the anger of the people.

This was the charge levelled by YSR Congress party MLA and spokesman Ambati Rambabu on Saturday.

He said it was unfortunate that Naidu had still been living in an illegal construction on the Krishna river bund making baseless allegations against the government.

“Naidu has been casting aspersions on the government that drones are being used to snoop on his house. Drones are being used to identify the effect of floods and to evacuate people to safer places,” said Rambabu.

Rambabu demanded that Naidu should leave the house immediately for his own safety.

“Why did he not build his own house in Amaravati? Chief Minister Sri Jagan built his own house and is staying there. Naidu does not believe in making Amaravati his home and hence stayed in a rented illegal house,” he alleged.

The YSRCP MLA said Naidu should leave the house immediately as a true and responsible citizen of the state and said the government will certainly look into provisions of providing a house to Naidu if he seeks to have one. He is already getting house rent allowance, he added.

He wondered why Naidu should occupy an illegal construction which was below the maximum flood level and where the need for the government was to sink his house.

“It is unbecoming of an opposition leader to make such demeaning allegations. Naidu has lost the elections because of his high-handedly behavior,” Rambabu said.
