Jagan Gets Complaint Against Chevireddy!

YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has received a strange complaint against party MLA from Chandragiri Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.

No, not that Chevireddy has indulged in any corrupt activity or there is any negative report on his performance as an MLA in his constituency. He is a popular name in Chandragiri from where he has won twice.

The complaint is about Chevireddy’s proximity to film personalities. Whenever there is any film ready for release, all those associated with that film land in Tirupati for having a darshan of Lord Venkateshwara to pray for the success of the film.

And for all of them, Chevireddy is the one-point-source for all the arrangements – right from receiving them at the airport, transporting them to Tirumala, providing them accommodation, extending all the formalities and finally, ensuring them a nice darshan of the Lord. Readmore!

In some cases, Chevireddy himself personally accompanies the film stars during their visit to Tirumala. This is not being taken kindly by some YSRC leaders.

For, film stars don’t care for Andhra Pradesh government and its chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, while they go head over heels for Telangana and its chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. This was pointed out even by Andhra Jyothy managing director V Radhakrishna in his column.

So, a section of YSRC leaders is upset with Chevireddy for going overboard in entertaining the film stars and taking care of their Tirumala visits. What is more disappointing is that Chevireddy is not extending the same favour when party leaders or social media wing activists come to Tirumala. He doesn’t even care for them.

These two points form the crux of the complaint lodged by some party leaders with the chief minister. It is learnt Jagan has assured them that he would talk to Chevireddy in this regard and see that there is no scope for such complaints in future.
