Is KTR Really Intelligent?

Telangana Minister KTR is branded as an intelligent leader. However, concerns are raised as it seems this astute leader may have fallen into the trap of yellow media.

It's widely believed that CM KCR, along with Ministers KTR and Harish Rao, is orchestrating a drama to secure TDP votes.

But the irony lies in BRS members unknowingly praising TDP that certainly costs them anti-TDP votes which are in majority.

Minister KTR, for instance, participated in a Big Debate hosted by RK, where he stated that CM KCR's decision to potentially arrest Ramoji Rao was kept aside driven by humanitarian concerns. This strategic move aims to attract votes from the Kamma social class and TDP supporters. Readmore!

Surprisingly, they fail to realize the potential loss of the votes from those who hate TDP clan. Even if KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao make efforts to appease, not even 1% of TDP votes are likely to sway towards BRS; instead, all are inclined towards supporting the Congress.

Unfortunately, this oversight implies that BRS is inadvertently losing positive votes of anti TDP settlers.

It should be underlined that the TDP social media wing is behind Revanth Reddy and attacking BRS leaders continuously. In spite of knowing this, KTR's attempts to appease Kamma voters in Telangana look foolish.

On the other hand repeated comments by KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao against the Jagan government, again to appease Kamma voters, are pushing pro-YCP voters not to favor BRS.

Moreover, positive remarks by KTR about CBN and Lokesh, who opposes the YCP, are creating divisions among voters.

Another dimension that raises questions about KTR's political acumen is his statement in the ABN interview.

He mentioned that his father, KCR, pardoned Ramoji Rao, citing his age and cancer as factors. Can a leader in a democracy assert such a stance?

A Chief Minister does not hold the authority to pardon someone for their wrongdoings; there are legal avenues to address such matters.

While responding, KTR should have been mindful of these considerations and refrained from sounding like a monarch. Such politically incorrect statements before the elections are unexpected from KTR, who is otherwise recognized for his intelligence.

The question arises: What is BRS leaders accomplishing with their statements, aside from failing to secure TDP votes and losing support of the YCP votes?
