Is Harish being shifted to Maha politics?

Over the past few days, senior BRS leader and minister T. Harish Rao has been occupied with admitting leaders and workers from various political parties in Maharashtra into the BRS.

Even on Saturday, Harish was observed at Telangana Bhavan, the BRS headquarters in Hyderabad, holding meetings with leaders and workers from Maharashtra.

Around 300 leaders and workers from Maharashtra joined the BRS under the leadership of Harish in the presence of BRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

These recent developments have fueled rumors that KCR is planning to transfer his nephew, Harish Rao, to Maharashtra politics to ensure a smooth transition of power to his son, K.T. Rama Rao, if the BRS manages to retain power for a third term in the upcoming Assembly polls in December this year. Readmore!

KCR wants to ensure that there is no second power center within the BRS once his son KTR takes over the reins of the BRS government and party.

The comments made by KCR at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, while addressing the leaders and workers from Maharashtra, have further strengthened speculations that Harish will be shifted to Maharashtra politics.

KCR stated that he intends to hold a large rally in Solapur, Maharashtra, covering an area of 50 acres, and he will soon send Harish to Maharashtra to make arrangements for mobilizing lakhs of people to ensure the success of the event.

This implies that Harish will have to stay in Maharashtra for a few weeks to make the BRS rally in Solapur a success.

Party circles speculate that KCR is preparing the groundwork to transfer Harish to Maharashtra politics in this manner, especially considering that the BRS recently opened an office in Nanded and plans to further expand by opening offices in Mumbai, Solapur, and other locations.
