How long can Pawan put up this show?

Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan’s recent visits to the villages in Amaravati turned out to be flop shows, if one were to go by the responses he had got from the people.

In fact, Pawan had to faced several embarrassing situations during his tour, as the people questioned him about his inconsistent stand on Amaravati, his alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party which has been adopting double standards on the capital issue and his inability to influence the Centre so that the capital is retained at Amaravati.

More than giving any assurances, Pawan was confined to listening to the angry outburst of the people. Apparently, he has realised that the people of Amaravati are not believing him, as he was nowhere to be seen when the movement was at its peak and farmers were facing lathi blows.

The social media groups of Amaravati farmers are full of criticism and abuses for Pawan Kalyan, as they suspect him to be a mole of the BJP to dilute the agitation for Amaravati. Readmore!

In other parts of the state, too, Pawan did not get much response.

His latest statement that he would contest from Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district in the next elections has shown him in poor light, as it only showed he is not able to digest his defeat in Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram constituencies in the last elections.

With one leader after the other planning to desert Jana Sena, it appears there are virtually no takers for Pawan or his philosophy.

It would be better for him to withdraw from politics for now and concentrate on films, so that he would at least get back his popularity, provided the films succeed at the box office.
