Harish missing in action at TRS hungama!

Hardly a few hours are left for the conduct of “mother of all public meetings” by Telangana Rashtra Samithi at Kongara Kalan village on the outskirts of Hyderabad on September 2.

For the last 10 days, the TRS leaders have been involved in hectic activity in making arrangements for the meeting. Except for senior ministers like Azmeera Chandulal, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and Tummala Nageshwara Rao, almost all the cabinet colleagues of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have been visiting the meeting venue regularly.

Every minister and senior party leaders have been given one task or the other with regard to preparing the meeting venue. Younger ministers like KCR’s son K T Rama Rao, finance minister Etela Rajender, animal husbandry minister Talasani Srinivasa Rao and others are supervising the arrangements almost on a daily basis.

Even KCR visited the spot once, while his daughter K Kavitha have been entrusted with the task of coordinating with the national media. Readmore!

But one person who is conspicuously missing from action is KCR’s nephew and irrigation minister T Harish Rao. Normally, Harish is known for his expertise in making fool-proof arrangements for such meetings. In all the previous occasions, KCR used to entrust the task of organising public meetings to Harish Rao.

So, when such a huge public meeting with an unprecedented crowds, it was naturally expected that Harish would be in the forefront in making the arrangements. However, he is not to be seen anywhere in the entire hungama.

Party sources said KCR has asked Harish to keep away from the meeting and confine himself to mobilising crowds to the meeting like any other MLA. He has given certain target to bring crowds at his own expense to the meeting. Besides, the chief minister wants Harish to focus on completion of Kaleshwaram project at the earliest.

It clearly shows KCR and his family has decided to suppress Harish Rao and make him an insignificant leader in the party, so that he will never raise his voice!
