The most recent survey in the Gudivada Constituency has yielded results that strongly favor the YCP and indicate a shocking setback for the TDP.
The term "shocking" is applied to this setback because many had anticipated that the YCP MLA and Ex-Minister Kodali Nani would face certain defeat due to the strong language he used against Chandrababu Naidu for the past five years.
Additionally, there was a widespread assumption that voters from the Kamma Community and sympathizers of the TDP would ensure his defeat.
However, to everyone's surprise, he maintains a robust support base of 53% of the voters, which is remarkable. This level of support is nearly equivalent to what he secured during his victory in the 2019 general election. All of his voters appear to remain loyal, and there are no signs of anti-incumbency in this constituency.
Furthermore, the TDP candidate remains relatively unknown to the public. Despite speculation that the NRI Venigalla Ramu would be the candidate, there has been no official confirmation from the TDP high command.
Consequently, it is truly astonishing to witness the prevailing lack of enthusiasm among the majority of voters towards the TDP.
