Fans in South loyal, stardom in B'wood takes time

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who worked in Hindi as well as South Indian cinema, compared fandoms in both industries.

She called herself a ‘versatile’ actor, who was ‘not bogged down by language or by any genre’.

She said, "I think it's essential, in the South, fans are...loyal. I think they have emotions around the artists. For them, it's a...personal...connection with them."

"But I feel that kind of stardom in the North...That loyalty comes through time," she added.

Tamannaah will be next seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Babli Bouncer, among other films.
