Fake obscene video: YSRC to prosecute Naidu, Lokesh

The YSR Congress party, which had been on the defensive all these days on the alleged obscene video involving party MP from Hindupur Gorantla Madhav, has now begun an offensive against the Telugu Desam Party for maligning the image of the MP and the Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

Former minister and senior YSRC leader Perni Venkat Ramaiah alias Nani said the party would seek prosecution of the TDP for fabricating the video, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh for getting it posted on the social media, pro-TDP channels for repeatedly telecasting the fake video and the TDP leaders who held press conferences day and in day out on the issue, blaming the government.

“Since the US-based forensic experts’ agency itself clarified that the so-called report being circulated by the TDP is not original, all these people are liable for prosecution. We shall file cases against them and seek action against them, as they are unfit to live in this civilised society,” Nani said.

Earlier, Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (CID) additional director general P V Sunil Kumar also indicated that legal action would be taken against those who had circulated the fake video and wrong forensic report. Readmore!

Nani said it was highly reprehensible that Naidu had stopped down to the level of circulating a fabricated and morphed video that would damage the reputation of an MP for gaining cheap political mileage.

“Naidu is known for such cheap political gimmicks. He has mastered the art of managing systems for his dirty political gains. He is only plunging from one level to another level, which is evident from the way he had chosen to circulate even porn videos for his dirty political games,” Nani criticised.
