The yellow media in Andhra Pradesh stands exposed once again. This media’s blue-eyed boy Chandrababu Naidu too stands exposed for their lies.
The media in AP has been loyal to Chandrababu Naidu for over one-and-a-half decades. The media had been the loyal pamphlet of Naidu’s political interests and they share caste interests too.
Time and again several leaders have exposed this nexus and their blatant lies over the years. However, it was late Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, who hit them hard and stripped them and made them stand naked in front of the people a decade ago.
However, the shameless media and its leader Chandrababu Naidu continue to fool the people with the lies.
The latest is about the court petition against the BC reservations in the local body elections.
The State government’s decision to increase reservations for the BCs in the local body elections was challenged by one Birru Pratap Reddy from Kurnool district.
The High Court had quashed the State government’s order and thus deprived the BCs of the enhanced reservations.
However, the TDP chief alleged that the petitioner Pratap Reddy is a close aide of Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Naidu showed photographs of Pratap Reddy with late Rajasekhar Reddy.
The yellow media had published this news attributing the court case and the conspiracy to the chief minister.
But the fact is that Pratap Reddy is a close aide of former Central minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy who is now with the TDP. Pratap Reddy was made MNREGS monitoring committee in the State by then chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Pratap Reddy is also close to Lokesh and TDP MLC Y V B Rajendra Prasad. Ignoring these facts, the TDP leader accuse Pratap Reddy of being YSR Congress activist and allege a conspiracy by Jaganmohan Reddy.
Ironically and shamelessly the media gives top priority to the news trying to point an accusing finger at the ruling YSR Congress.
Fortunately for the people and unfortunately for the yellow media and the yellow party, there is social media available which exposes the nexus and nails the lies.
