Everything is free in BJP manifesto for GHMC!

A couple of days after the Congress party released its fancied manifesto for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation promising a virtual moon to the voters, the Bharatiya Janata Party, too, has come out with its own brand of manifesto, promising many things to the people free of cost.

And for the release of manifesto for local polls, the BJP leadership called its senior leader and former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to Hyderabad on Thursday.

The saffron party has promised to give mobile tabs to all children belonging to poor families free of cost. All these families will get free quality Wi-Fi facility to enable their children to access online education.

The party has announced waiver of property tax in all SC colonies and slum areas. Similarly, free permission would be given for construction of houses in less than 125 sq. yds. plots. Women travelling in metro trains and city buses in Hyderabad would also be provided free travel facility. Readmore!

The BJP further promised to provide tap connections to all houses free of cost and free drinking water supply would be made to all houses. And those consuming less than 100 units of power, there would be free power supply.

For all professions falling under traditional occupations, too, the BJP would provide free power supply, apart from arranging loan facilities.

Interestingly, setting up of corona vaccine and corona testing for all has also been included in the GHMC manifesto of the BJP which also promised setting up of exclusive PHCs in consonance with the population of the locations.

The BJP has promised to scrap Layout Regularisation Scheme introduced by the TRS government, which it said was causing a burden of Rs15,000 crores on people.

A sum of Rs.25,000 will be given to each of the flood affected families in Greater Hyderabad area. Families who already got Rs.10,000 compensation amount will get the remaining amount of Rs.15,000, is yet another promise made by the BJP!
