The sudden convulsions of people at different places in Eluru has shook the entire nation and also pulled the attention of medical experts all over India.
Though water was suspected initially, there is a talk going on that the people who regularly consume mineral water also have got affected with this mystery illness.
There are also some affected people from some areas where the Municipal Water is being supplied. So, if water is ruled out, then what could be the other reason?
Some suspicions are going on with regard to either contaminated milk or toxin sprayed vegetables.
"A particular vegetable from a field which was over sprayed with pesticide toxins might have been sold to the people of Eluru. This can be taken into consideration if the affected families are enquired where they have purchased the vegetables in the last two days or which vegetable they have consumed precisely. Otherwise, there are no logical grounds for this mystery", says a social media post.
Another opinion goes like this- "A particular local brand of milk or a particular local milk vendor also might be the reason for this illness. Investigations should happen in this line as well".
Had it been water contamination or air pollution, the situation would have been worse than this. Considering the number of victims, the above social media opinions seem to be underlined.
