A case of molestation has been registered against a doctor for allegedly inappropriately touching the wife of an IPS officer at a pub.
It is noted that the IPS officer, during his previous tenure as Traffic DCP, was involved in a controversial incident where he issued challans in a parking dispute with an actress.
The IPS officer and his wife were visiting the Tabula Rasa pub in the Financial District, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Gachibowli police station.
The incident occurred when a doctor from Madinaguda accidentally brushed against the IPS officer's wife while returning from the washroom. The doctor immediately apologized, explaining that it was an unintentional mistake.
The officer's wife informed her husband, and shortly after, Gachibowli police arrived at the pub.
The doctor was taken to the Gachibowli police station. Despite his explanations that the incident was accidental, the police continued to question him.
A breathalyzer test was conducted to determine if he was intoxicated and behaving inappropriately.
Reports indicated that he had not consumed excessive alcohol. Nevertheless, he was held at the station for several hours.
The following day, based on a complaint from the pub management, a case was registered against the doctor, and a notice was issued.
