Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara has officially withdrawn from the Sankranthi 2025 race. However, Balakrishna's NBK109 (yet to be titled), directed by Bobby and distributed by Dil Raju, is slated for release during the Sankranthi season.
Another major release for Sankranthi is Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, with Dil Raju as the producer.
Additionally, Sankranthiki Vastunnaam, directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Victory Venkatesh, is also aiming for a Sankranthi release.
As the title suggests, it’s designed for the festive audience, and once again, Dil Raju is the producer of this film.
With these three films lined up, Dil Raju is set to dominate the Sankranthi season, either as a producer or distributor, leaving little space for other releases.
When evaluating these three films, Game Changer faces some skepticism due to Shankar’s recent struggles with Indian 2.
NBK109 could garner attention with strong promotional material and a title reveal. Meanwhile, Sankranthiki Vastunnaam is shaping up to be a solid family entertainer, likely to attract large crowds.
Dil Raju is banking on these three films, and it will be interesting to see which one performs best, potentially compensating for any losses from the others, if they occur.
