Although she had appeared in a few Kannada films before, this film was her introduction to Telugu audiences.
Following the release, several Telugu directors expressed interest in casting her, and she is currently working alongside Sivakarthikeyan in a major Tamil project.

Rukmini Vasanth signed the Telugu film Appudo Ippudo Eppudo opposite Nikhil Siddhartha nearly three and a half years ago, in 2019, after her debut in Kannada cinema.
However, production was delayed due to disagreements between producer and director Sudheer Varma.
Sudheer Varma eventually resolved the issues with the producer, and the remaining work was completed recently.
As a result, Rukmini Vasanth’s first Telugu film will finally hit the screens, four years after she initially signed the project.
