TDP senior leader and former legislator, Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar got some relief from the high court on Wednesday.
The court had directed the state government to shift Narendra to any private hospital and conduct tests if required and give treatment.
Narendra’s advocate filed a quash petition in the court in which the advocate informed the court that his client was suffering from some health issues.
Narendra is currently serving the judicial remand in Rajamahendravaram court in irregularities and corruption cases in Sangam Dairy issue.
He is accused in transfer of 10 acres of land from the Sangam Dairy to his own trust formed in the honour of his father and former minister late Dhulipalla Viraiah Chowdary.
Another accused, Gopala Krishna, MD of the Sngam Dairy, is also currently serving the judicial remand.
He was shifted to a private hospital following Covid positive reports.
Narendra and Gopala Krishna, besides some senior officials in the Cooperative Department in Guntur district are accused in the cases of mismanagement, corruption and irregularities.
